IELTS: SPEAKING PART 1

- General and Academic will take the same test in this part.

- It takes about 4-5 minutes.

- This part includes the introduction and two topics.

- The topics list:

+ Hometown or Neighborhood

+ Work

+ Hobbies

+ Study

+ Food

+ Friends

+ Sports

- Note: Pronuciation, Fluently, Vocabulary, Grammar



SOMETHING TO DO:

- Confident, friendly, eye-contact.

- Exitement.

- Vocabulary:

+ food <=> cuisine

+ friends <=> acquaintance

- I like X 

=> USE: I enjoy | I really love | I prefer

- Expand your answers / Examples.

- Practice


SOMETHING DON'T:

- Speak with a monotone.

- Give yes/no answer.

- Repeat the question.

- Go off topic.

- Answer "I don't know".

- Speak too quickly / slowly.

- Speak quitely.

- Worry about perfect English.
